Someone said to me that Ninja Cat is pretty pedestrian for a ninja. I was all like, “Trust me when I say that this guy has the movesTM” but I could tell that this person – who is a REAL person by the way – didn’t really believe me.

Although I suppose this also highlights how clumsy Ninja Cat can be… less funny, I guess. Unless that is what NC WANTS you to think. Never underestimate a ninja.

I hope that you haven’t missed these guys too much. I will say that they have missed you quite a bit. Rolf mentioned it in a letter a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, he and I write to each other. It’s kind of our thing.

I don’t think Rolf has encountered many ninjas out in the ocean so perhaps that is why he can’t quite pin down what a ninja is. But can ANY of us do this? COULD YOU PIN DOWN A NINJA?
No. No you could not.
Ninjas are trained professionals at, among other things, NOT being pinned down. And they are snappy dressers.

So, uh, it’s been quite some time since we last chatted. Heh. Feels like I need to reintroduce myself?
But I’m not going to.
This comic is what happens when you have neglected something for so long that you start second guessing ever having an idea good enough to warrant such a long delay. And I am by no means implying that this comic is good enough. I am just at a point where I fear I will never post again if I don’t press the submit button today. Right now.

It seems that Rolf isn’t as altruistic as we first thought. What is his actual agenda? Does he even like cats? Or Ninjas? Is he even a whale? Can we come up with more questions?

Uh oh! Shit just got real.
As some of you may have noticed I did a little tweaking of this here Tumblr in order to get the story flow coming through. I found many people perplexed by what was actually going on in the story and then realised they had been reading it from back to front thanks to Tumblr’s default posting tendencies. I can get how people were all like, “Well, it looks pretty but I don’t have the faintest idea what is going on?” Even though I had a “Read from the Beginning” link but WHATEVER! I have a new plan.
