Hi guys, I am back from the ‘dead’. I use quotation marks there to denote that I wasn’t actually dead. Even though I would have forgiven you for thinking I was. But I am not! YAY!

I had so much fun drawing this strip. I am thinking of drawing them more often now.

Okay OKAY, I am sorry for not updating. I do feel really bad about having not updated this comic in over three months. Like the guilt almost ‘killed’ me.

I honestly thought NC had forgotten that Rolf tried to eat him. But cats remember every wrong thing you have ever done to them. Remember that. Mind you, whales have pretty good memories too. Just be careful what you say around these guys. *whispers* I heard one of them is a legit ninja…

Howdy.

No no, don’t walk away!

We have met before. I used to update this comic here a little more regularly? Remember?

Yoh, I have missed these guys. But I have actually been writing quite a bit about them “Behind the Scenes™”, so know that I haven’t abandoned ship. I don’t even live on a ship.

I hope you guys like the next few updates, the little thumbnails I have worked up already seem to be quite fun. Little fun-nails. Haha. Fun-nails.

I wonder what that could be? What cunning plan does Rolf have? I am intrigued.

Kidding, I know what is happening before it happens ’round these parts. Because I can see the future. Surprise.

Other things I know is that I missed a month of updates. I am sorry. I promised myself I wasn’t going to cry. All these lies. I just can’t stop!

That’s just ridiculous!

Hello.

I am squeezing this update in amongst excessive work because I made an oath to myself that I wouldn’t let a month go by this year without an update. An oath punishable by… DEATH *lightning*

So anyway I don’t like dying. I overheard Rolf telling Ninja Cat that he thought I might be dead. I kinda feel bad for not writing to him in such a long time. I hope he will forgive me. You know what they say about whales and forgiveness.

Hey this might even be the start of an actual story arc. Shhh! Don’t tell anybody.

It will be our little secret.

What do you know about whales?

Ninja Cat really should do some research about whales. He is embarrassing himself here!

I mean, who DOESN’T know that all whales speak Whalsh? It is, like, the second thing everybody is taught. Gosh!

So I have been toiling away at getting NCaRtW its very own website (which is also partly why this update is so delayed) and I hope to have that sorted out soonish. That will be exciting, right? Having our own website. A place to call home.

So exciting.

I was chatting to Rolf and he said it was a, “…sign of good things to come.” I haven’t replied yet. I have no idea what that guy is talking about sometimes.

Then again, I don’t think I know any body who DOESN’T like them a back rub from time to time? I mean, it is a part of your body unreachable. An unknown entity. Always there but never seen. The dark side of us all.

Think about it. Think about how you need a back scratch right now. Right in the centre. Just a fraction up from where your finger ends. From either direction. Now tell me they aren’t important.

Scratch peoples’ backs. It is the right thing to do.

Oh my! Since when do whales know anything about bartering?

Hope you like this one. I had much fun drawing it. I have also decided to use a font instead of hand-lettering. I HATE my lettering so hopefully this is easier for you to read. I’ll be honest here. It IS easier for me to type.
